Jiangsu Provincial Development and Reform Commission has recently recognized eight new pilot logistics parks, bringing the total number of such parks in the coastal province to 72.
Located in cities of Nanjing, Suzhou, Xuzhou, Lianyungang, Yangzhou, Suqian and Changshu, the eight parks offer rail, river or air cargo transport services. Six of Jiangsu's 72 logistics parks have also won the national recognition.
The province also plans to develop 8-10 logistics parks at county-level regions and promote cooperation among the parks.
