Forty medical device manufacturers in Zhenjiang City of Jiangsu Province joined an online meeting with 60 buyers from ASEAN on July 12.

In the 2022 Jiangsu-ASEAN Medical Devices Online Business Matchmaking, buyers expressed needs for a wide range of devices, such as blood pressure monitors, ventilators and thermometers, with the intended order amounting to over $2 million.

Huang Zheng, vice president of Jiangsu sub-council of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), said the online event is expected to promote cooperation between Jiangsu’s medical device manufacturers with the ASEAN market and encourage more enterprises to expand business through the online exhibitions.
