Wuxi launched the construction of its aerospace industrial park on June 21, when Hyatech, a high-tech enterprise, also kicked off a project on key aero-engine parts.
The park, located in Wuxi High-tech Zone, will focus on the development of astronautical and aeronautical industries, such as small satellites, commercial spacecraft and manufacturing of aircraft, aviation components and airborne equipment. It will also give priority to the aerospace service industry, such as aviation maintenance and technical support, logistics, financing and trade.
With a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan, Hyatech’s project will have an annual production capacity of 2.1 million aero-engine compressor blades and 6,500 rotating parts and structural parts.
The park’s launch ceremony also unveiled 30 projects with a total investment of 15.7 billion yuan, which cover components manufacturing, R&D, logistics and financing.
