Wujin National Hi-tech Industrial Zone has taken a series of measures to coordinate the fight against COVID-19 and also support companies to resume normal operations.
When the zone’s company Supumps broke ground for a project of smart integrated drainage system on March 28, staff members from the local Planning, Construction and Urban Management Bureau made on-site inspection to ensure the compliance with epidemic prevention and control measures, such as wearing a mask and taking temperature.
Despite the COVID-19 resurgence, Bosch Automotive Products (Suzhou) Changzhou branch has continued the operation after enforcing a closed-loop management to reduce infection risk. In this management way, workers live in the factory’s dormitory building without leaving the compound.
The vibrant industrial hub has established a network of COVID-19 responders, which consists of Party and governmental officers, to provide tailored services to nearly 2,000 enterprises in the zone.
The zone has also rolled out a system for nucleic acid testing registration. The system, aided with artificial intelligence and automated comparison, allows response authorities to keep a close eye on worker’s health and testing records, making it easier for companies to enforce the access control.
