The Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) held a meeting on October 13 to promote the deveolopment of private economy.
Wu Zhenglong, governor of Jiangsu, attended the meeting, which is presided over by Huang Lixin, chairwoman of the CPPCC Jiangsu Provincial Committee.
Wu said the meeting reflects the spirit of innovation and sense of responsibility of entrepreneurs and enhances the confidence to promote high-quality development. The provincial government will look into the suggestions and put into practice the ideas while trying the best to help address difficulties affecting development of private economy.
Wu also urged private entrepreneurs to seize the opportunity, stand up to the challenge, and make more efforts in realizing industrial transformation, low-carbon growth and common prosperity.
To align the effective market and governance, it’s necessary for all governmental departments to improve measures benefiting enterprises, bring forth a favorable environment for private companies, and promote their vitality and competitiveness.
Huang said holding the meeting between the business community and government is to give full play to the role of the CPPCC and build a high-level platform for consultation and dialogue. The suggestions put forward by entrepreneurs in the meeting will help improve the investment and advance the healthy development of private enterprises, she said.
