Development of the China (Nanjing) AI Valley, an AI start-up and innovation hub located in the city’s Qixia District, has achieved new progress as agreement for several major projects were signed on December 12.

The new arrival of companies including Mobvoi, an AI company focusing on advanced voice interaction and hardware-software integration, and MIRACLEPLUS, which offers start-up financing, will help the hub gather global AI resources and effectively address key challenges in development. They will also add strong momentum to the quality-oriented development of the Nanjing Economic Development Zone.

Liu Hongwen, deputy director of the Administration Committee of the Nanjing Economic Development Zone, said the projects signed are highly innovative and influential so they will greatly enhance the overall technical level and ecosystem of the AI valley. A sign of rapid development, half of the new investment this year went to projects that were locally developed and incubated in the hub.

Nanjing Economic Development Zone will continue to provide high-quality and efficient services for the resident enterprises, create a first-class business environment, and help speed up the project construction and development. The hub’s goal is to become the best of its kind in the province, one of top three in the country, and also have a global impact.
