The 2nd China-Korea Trade and Investment Expo opened in Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province on October 30.
Hosted by the China Chamber of International Commerce, it is the largest and highest foreign trade and economic exchange event held by Jiangsu since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic this year. The 5-day fair includes three exhibition zones dedicated to the achievement in the China-Korea Industrial Park, trade and investment, respectively.
Compared with the first expo, this edition has attracted participants from more sectors in addition to automobile, such as well-known financial platforms, institutions of research, development and testing, and companies specialized in new materials and technology. In total, more than 300 enterprises and nearly 500 domestic and foreign buyers have joined the fair, including many of Fortune 500 companies.
This year's expo also focused more on trade cooperation through efforts online and offline. Over 100 exhibitors and thousands of brands from South Korea and countries along the Belt and Road initiative have showcased their distinctive products.
Among the exhibitors, Haimaoyigou, a cross-border e-commerce platform based in Yancheng, allows customers to place orders for overseas products directly online and get the deliveries easily and quickly.
A delegation of 31 South Korean enterprises, led by the Korea International Trade Association, showcased over 50 types of products in the trade exhibition zone and hoped to find Chinese business partners through this fair.
