LNG carrier “Zarga,” one of the world’s largest and most advanced Q-Max vessels, shipped 115,000 tons of LNG to PetroChina’s Jiangsu LNG jetty on October 13 after 15 days of sailing.
With the latest LNG cargo, PetroChina’s Jiangsu LNG project has received 400 carriers with a total shipment of 33.17 million tons of LNG, equivalent to the 10-year gas supply for civilian use in the coastal province.
Q-Max vessels measure around 345 meters lengthwise with a breadth of 55 meters and a draft of about 12 meters. This was also Zarga’s 16th visit to Yangkou Port and it has transported 1.8 million LNG to Jiangsu.
Jiangsu LNG terminal has received and discharged 165 vessels of LNG from Qatar in the past 10 years, which is more than half of the total volume, followed by Australia and Russia.
Over a decade, the terminal has received 165 LNG vessels from Qatar, more than half of the total, followed by Australia and Russia. In addition, it also received LNG shipment from 22 countries and regions, including the United States, Belgium, Malaysia and Indonesia.
