On December 2, the Suzhou-Wuxi-Nantong Science and Technology Park in Nantong City hosted the Yangtze River Delta Urban Governance Forum Academic Seminar on Urban Governance and Digital Government.

To advance integrated development in the delta, a national development strategy, it has become increasingly vital to share experience in urban governance. The industrial park stands out in this initiative for its "1+2+9+N" governance system constructed at high standards.

This system integrates Big Data with law enforcement resources to create a visualized management platform. It also applies technological means to monitor the law enforcement activities and utilizes the hotline "12345" to effectively address public concerns. Other measures have also been implemented to ensure targeted and precise governance.

Huang Xiaofeng, deputy Party chief of the industrial park, said that this forum will help cities in the delta accelerate their modernization of social governance through the use of digital technologies.

During the forum, the industrial park also signed a cooperation framework agreement with the School of Social and Public Administration, East China University of Science and Technology. The two dies will foster in-depth cooperation in grassroots-level governance, talent training and other areas, aiming to make the park a benchmark for modern governance.
