The department of traffic administrative law enforcement in Jiangsu Province has temporarily closed 22 expressway entries and exits in Nanjing, Taizhou, Nantong and Suzhou cities in order to curb the spread of COVID-19.

The shutdown in Nanjing involves two entries to G25 Changchun–Shenzhen Expressway, one entry to G40 Shanghai–Xi'an Expressway, three entries to G4221 Shanghai-Wuhan Expressway and other roads.

Taizhou also suspended ten exits for expressways including G20, which links Beijing and Shanghai, and S35 Funing-Liyang Provincial Expressway.

Nantong and Suzhou each closed one entry to G40 and G15 Shenyang–Haikou Expressway respectively.
