The annual 100 PhD Talent in Jiangsu event took place in Nanjing on December 15, attracting 102 professionals with a doctorate degree to visit the province in person to seek for cooperation opportunities. More than 150 professionals with a doctorate degree also presented their projects online to potential employers in the event.

The program, launched in 2006, aims to facilitate cooperation between international top-caliber talent and Jiangsu’s enterprises. A total of 1,531 professionals who completed their PhD studies abroad have visited the coastal province for business development and brought investment totaling 2 billion yuan.

In this year’s edition,  the province unveiled 18 service centers specially for those who received overseas education in Nanjing, Wuxi and other cities.
