The Dongshahu Social Work Committee of Suzhou Industrial Park has sent the second open letter to foreigners residing in the community to help prevent and control the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak.

The letter is part of Dongshahu community’s ongoing efforts to ensure the health of foreigners working in the park and their family members.

The industrial park is home to one of the largest clusters of expats in Jiangsu. In the epidemic control, Dongshahu has kept close contact with foreigners and sent the letter in Chinese, English, Japanese and Korean.

The letter reminds foreigners to follow the epidemic update, shares information about seeking help, and promotes health advice for self-protection.

Meanwhile, Dongshahu has recruited more volunteers who can speak English, Japanese or Korean, translating the latest information about COVID-19 and health advice into foreign languages in a timely manner. Social workers then visit homes of foreigners and make sure they get the message at the first time.
