Suzhou convened a meeting on September 20 to advance the development of the Taihu Lake Photon Center with the release of a plan for the center’s core area.
At this meeting, the Suzhou Municipal Government cooperated with the Suzhou Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences to initiate the construction of the Suzhou Taihu Lake Photon Technology Research Institute.
The core area will cover approximately 53 hectares in Suzhou New District and have a floor area of 1.2 million square meters.
