Jiangsu Province has released a plan outlining the development of smart cities and digital transformation from 2025 to 2027, including the construction of 300 new types of public cultural spaces.

In contrast to traditional venues such as libraries and museums, these new spaces will focus on aesthetic design, multifunctionality, and intelligent services, while emphasizing integration with community, business districts, and scenic areas.

The plan also states that the coastal province will continue to build digital platforms for heritage preservation and enhance digital management of historical blocks and buildings.
