Jiangsu had a total of 695 listed companies as of the end of November, marking an increase of 15 this year, according to the latest statistics from the Jiangsu Provincial Listed Companies Association.
The amount of listed companies from Jiangsu accounts for 12.92% of the total A-share market. Suzhou leads the province with 219 listed companies, followed by Nanjing with 124, Wuxi with 123, and Changzhou with 72.
The machinery and equipment sector has the highest number of listed companies, with 105 in total, followed by the electronics industry with 84 and the power equipment industry with 77.
