China's national team unveils giant panda as first teammate image

A lively giant panda was unveiled as the first teammate image for China's national team at the 2024 China Sports Culture Expo and China Sports Tourism Expo, held at the Suzhou International Expo Center on October 11.

The design features a five-pointed star shape that resembles an open posture, symbolizing an embrace of the future. The giant panda appears healthy, confident and adorable, reflecting the optimistic, friendliness, and energy of China's national team members.

Additionally, more than 40 licensed products featuring the new design have been developed, including badges, notebooks, eco-friendly tote bags, and pen cases.
