The 2022 Taihu Lake Art Festival, organized by Wuxi Municipal Government, held the opening ceremony at Wuxi Grand Theatre on October 24.
The festival runs from October 24 to November 30 and consists of about 100 programs including stage shows and artwork exhibitions.
It covers a variety of art forms including drama, dance, Peking Opera, Wuxi Opera and symphony. The exhibitions will focus on cultural relics, photography, art installations, fine arts, calligraphy and crafts.

The festival continues its practice of low-ticket prices to expand the outreach. Discounts can be up to 50% for early birds.
Since 2012, Wuxi has hosted satellite events of China Shanghai International Arts Festival for eight sessions. Then in 2019, the city inaugurated the Taihu Lake Art Festival.
