An international seminar on cultural and people-to-people exchanges between China and Latin American countries in the post-COVID-19 era was held at Jiangsu Normal University on December 12.
The meeting discussed the opportunities and challenges for strengthening exchanges and cooperation in overcoming the impact of the pandemic.
In the first half of the year, Argentina's exports to China bucked the trend to grow by 20.6 percent. China has become the biggest export destination of the South American country. An official from Salta, a province in northwest Argentina, said in the video speech that the country is actively preparing to join the Belt and Road initiative. Salta will also participate in the 13th Jiangsu Horticultural Expo, increase communication and cooperation, and enhance the mutual appreciation of each other’s culture.
