Taking a break from the hustle and bustle of the city has now become a new fashion.

Over the weekend, driving to the suburbs to experience rural life has become a new trend. People are claiming a piece of land in the "shared vegetable garden," grabbing a hoe, planting their favorite vegetables or fruits, and cooking a big pot of food by themselves.

Recently, Niqiao Village in Ma'an Street, Nanjing, has launched a unique rural traveling route that combines the "shared vegetable garden" with communal cooking stoves, stirring up memories of childhood for citizens.

The garden in Niqiao Village has recently been completed and is now available for pre-sale. It is reported that the total area of over 50 acres of the "shared vegetable garden" was originally idle land. Junsheng Ecological Agriculture Co., Ltd. completed the construction at the end of last year.

Citizens can now experience the joy of farming and enjoy the harvest in the shared garden. Yin Jie, the person in charge, told us that since the launch of the garden, it has already attracted several families to make reservations. Some are looking to add fun to their retirement life, while others want their children to experience the process of farming.

Ms. Li and her friends share the joy of rural life in the garden.

It is reported that in the future, the garden will be equipped with monitoring system and other facilities, allowing the "farmers" to see the growth of crops without leaving their homes. Currently, the garden has already planted crops such as peppers, crown daisies, and watermelons, waiting for the harvest moment to arrive.

At the same time, the development of the garden has also boosted the local tourism industry. "The number of visitors to Niqiao Village has significantly increased at weekends compared to last year," said Yin Jie.
