Suzhou unveiled a list of 41 industrial technology challenges that seek global solutions at the Suzhou International Sci-tech Innovation Conference on September 26. The technological challenges have a total planned investment of over 5 billion yuan, with the highest single project investment reaching 320 million yuan.
The list covers areas such as new energy, next-generation IT, biomedicine, healthcare and advanced equipment. Notably, the next-generation IT sector has the most entries, with 10 items on the list.
The Suzhou Municipal Science and Technology Bureau will also provide research fund for projects that are included in the city’s annual technological priority initiative, with a maximum of 10 million yuan.
