Jiangsu will also encourage the research, development and manufacturing of high-end IC equipment, assist SMEs in intelligent transformation with consultancy services, and support enterprises to pursue high-end, digital, green and service-focused growth.
The province will offer financial support to eligible enterprises and implement preferential tax policies, according to the measures.
In addition, Jiangsu will strengthen the support for IC-related academic disciplines in universities, increase funding, expand the scale of student enrollment, and give financial support to universities that offer doctoral and master's degree programs.
In the Yangtze River Delta, efforts will be made to encourage the upstream and downstream enterprises to form innovation alliance, improve full-fledged IC industry chain, and deepen the cooperation led by top companies.
