Jiangsu governor Xu Kunlin met with the delegation led by Markus Kamieth, member of the Board of Executive Directors of BASF, in Nanjing on November 1.

Xu said that the just-concluded 20th CPC National Congress has drawn a blueprint for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and Chinese model of modernization.

Focusing on the primary task of high-quality growth, Jiangsu is fully and accurately implementing the new development concept and will provide greater space for development of foreign-funded enterprises, according to Xu.

German companies including BASF have made investment in more than 2,100 projects in Jiangsu Province. Jiangsu will continue to optimize the business environment, promote progress of new infrastructure projects, and offer high-quality and efficient services for the business community, said Xu.

Markus Kamieth expressed appreciation for Jiangsu's strong support and assistance to BASF's development. He said the company will deepen the technology cooperation, expand investment and step up the pace of green transformation in making new contribution to Jiangsu's high-quality development.
