The People's Government of Wujiang District in Suzhou City, CRRC Urban Traffic, and Greenland Holdings signed an agreement of cooperation in a pilot project about intelligent, green manufacturing and coordinated innovation on the afternoon of August 4 in Shanghai.
With a total investment of 26 billion yuan, the project aims to better align advanced manufacturing, modern service, and urban development initiatives in order to set an example for the integrated growth of the Yangtze River Delta region, a national strategy.
The first phase of the project is expected to start in December 2020 and will bring together resources from many sides, such as CRRC Urban Traffic’s elevator industry headquarters, demonstration site of smart elevator system, a leading inspection and testing center and a research institute for making breakthroughs. It intends to build a pioneering intelligent manufacturing hub and a first-class super factory for high-end elevating system
