A joint signing ceremony to finance cultural and tourism projects took place at Nanjing Museum on June 9. Among 65 projects that reached deals, 25 were listed as key initiatives in the province’s culture and tourism industry, which benefited from a total credit line worth 39.134 billion yuan.

Chen Jinsong, director of the development office of the provincial culture and tourism department, said since the outbreak of the coronavirus, the department has made an interim refund of the quality guarantee deposit totaling 415 million yuan to 1,902 travel agencies. Meanwhile, the department together with the provincial finance department released six supporting measures, which have benefited 504 cultural and tourism enterprises.

The provincial department of culture and tourism will continue to expand the financing channel and coordinate with all types of financial institutions to boost the development of the cultural and tourism industry.
