Yang Xiaolei from Jiangsu Province along with her teammates An Qixuan and Li Jiaman secured a silver medal for China in women's team archery at the Paris Olympics on July 28.

South Korea, a dominant force in archery, clinched the gold, continuing their tradition of sweeping the gold medals in the event at several Olympics. However, compared with the performance at the last Olympics, China's team has shown steady improvement.

Yang, born in Changzhou in 2000, also participated in the Tokyo Games.
