In the new year, Taizhou will continue promoting the integration of industry and innovation, the digital and real economy and cross-regional development, focusing on quality and efficiency, introduced Wan Wenhua, head of Taizhou delegation at the "two sessions" of Jiangsu Province. To build a large healthcare industry, Taizhou will focus on 12 key fields, including manufacturing and services. It will bring together resources, from famous universities to top scientists, establish a national-level cohort study center, plan Taizhou Labs, and integrate clinical, scientific and educational resources from Peking University, Fudan University, Nanjing Medical University and others to gradually foster a comprehensive healthcare innovation ecosystem.

In new industrialization and new productive forces, Taizhou will prioritize the development of the digital economy, deepen intelligent and digital transformation, and form strengths in data resources and digital infrastructure. The city will focus on computing first network, establish data-centric industrial park, and transform data into a key development factor.

In regional integration, Taizhou will make strides in comprehensive opening-up. It is set to construct comprehensive transport hubs linking the river and the sea and providing multi-modal transport, actively align with the national strategy of Yangtze River Delta integration, and deeply engage in the province’s “1+3” development initiative. Taizhou intends to enhance its industrial parks and urban functions to global standards.
