2024-01-25 11:34:00

Tao Yudong, a deputy to the Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress, became the first from Hongqiao Village, Taicang City to register a “family farm,” which specializes in relatively scaled-up commercial farming, in 2013.

The post-90s generation has shared his experience with other farmers, aiding them in strengthening their brands and analyzing business and sales strategies. His efforts have benefited more than 80 farms covering thousands of mu.

As a provincial lawmaker, Tao actively listens to and addresses farmers’ concerns. His suggestions have been well-received by relevant departments, leading to problem solutions. In this process, he has showcased the role of speaking on behalf of the masses and protecting their interests.

Currently, Tao is working with locals to form an industrial alliance, aiming to enhance fruit branding and transform Futian Family Farm into a national exemplar for rural vitalization.
