The first Cole Flowers Tourism Festival opened in Shuyang County, Jiangsu Province, on April 11. The festival will last about 50 days and host many activities, such as a photography contest, a scarecrows exhibition, and a show of tourism merchandises and intangible cultural heritage items.
The cole flower field, about 5,000 mu in the first phase, is located at the intersection of Xinyi River, Huaishu New River and Chaliu River. Shuyang aims to boost tourism with the project and improve people’s livelihood. It is also the largest cole flower farm in Suqian City.
