According to a statement of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism on March 31, the province’s A -grade tourist attractions will no longer need to hold up to 75 percent of their visitor capacities during the holidays. Such relaxed measures have greatly met the pent-up demand for travelling during the holiday.
Short-distance trip was still the first choice as COVID-19 response measures become a new normal. Various scenic spots in Jiangsu hosted activities to boom tourism, such as the popular cherry blossoms views at attractions including Nianhuawan and Yuantouzhu in Wuxi city. The 4th Rapeseed Flower Festival in Guanyun County combined camping sites and other engaging programs.
Visitors interested in science also found Nantong Forest Safari Park a great destination as two one-month-old white lions met the public for the first time.
