Huai’an opened the Jinhu Water Carnival, the country's first water-themed attraction that combines agricultural resources and tourism programs on December 31.
The scenic site, located in Taji Town’s Hehuadang Scenic Area, features the superior water resources, aquatic ecology, water culture, and aquaculture in an area of 540 mu (36 hectares) in Jinhu County.
The site is home to more than 1,200 species of animals and plants, 200 interactive installations demonstrating modern agricultural high-tech, and a total of 150 programs for visitors to choose from.
