Construction of the China-Korea IC Industrial Park started in Wuxi National High-tech District (WND) on October 7.
With a joint investment of 2 billion yuan by WND Development Group and SK Hynix, the project aims to create an integrated industrial innovation park and attract key players in the IC sector to settle in.
Led by top enterprises such as SK Hynix, Huahong, China Resources Microelectronics and NCAP China, the park intends to host upstream and downstream companies and build it into an IC powerhouse with the full spectrum of design, manufacturing, packaging, testing, equipment and materials.
On the day, WND also saw the signing of 19 major projects in the IC industry with a total investment of 30.34 billion yuan. These projects share the feature of large investment, high technology and great driving force.
