Changzhou National Hi-Tech District has signed an agreement with SID of Switzerland for a project with an investment of 20 million Euros.
The eco-friendly project located in the Sino-Swiss (Changzhou) International Industrial Innovation Park will boast industry-leading technologies and have an annual sale of over 500 million yuan.
SID designs, manufactures and erects a wide range of machinery and installations for waste treatment and process technologies. It is a leading company for the planning and construction of complete shredding installations, with branch companies set in Germany, France, China and India.
Since entering Chinese market in 2006, the company has been committed to waste pre-treatment with its customized solutions used in many industries, such as incinerator plants, cement industry, heat and power stations and recycling plants.
With the new investment in Changzhou, the company aims to target at leading domestic environmental protection enterprises as well as the Southeast Asian market.
Launched in 2018, the innovation park is home to leading international enterprises, such as 3A Composites and Medela, as well as top manufacturing firms including Georg Fischer, Rieter, METTLER TOLEDO, V-ZUG and Givaudan.
