Jiangsu Province is helping coordinate chartered bus service for employees returning to work, having organized 28 rides and transported 468 workers as of noon on February 16, amid the fight against the COVID-19 outbreak.

On February 16, two buses departed to pick up 13 workers from Lianyungang and Huai’an cities and get them back to work for LG Display (Nanjing). Jiangsu Nanjing Coach Passenger Transport Group will continue to help other employees of the company return to their offices.

Similar measures were also introduced in Xuzhou Coal Mining Group, when more than 300 employees of the group took 13 chartered buses from the Xuzhou Passenger Terminal to workplaces in Yan'an and Tongchuan of Shaanxi province, as well as other places.

Jiangsu Department of Transportation and other authorities responsible for industry and information technology, human resources, and health have made every effort to ensure the one-stop transportation service is safe in the journey. For example, passengers with symptoms of fever will be sent to nearby quarantine stations as soon as possible.
