The fifth session of the 12th CPPCC Jiangsu Committee opened in Nanjing City on the morning of January 19.
Wu Zhenglong, secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, delivered a speech during the opening session.
The meeting also reviewed and approved the agenda, heard the work report by the standing committee of the the 12th CPPCC Jiangsu Committee and a report on the implementation of key proposals since the fourth session.
