Jiangsu Cybersecurity Week starts on October 11

The 2021 Jiangsu Cybersecurity Week, a campaign to promote public awareness of cybersecurity, was launched in Suqian City on October 11.

 

Zhang Aijun, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee and also head of the Committee’s Publicity Department, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

The opening ceremony saw the announcement of Jiangsu’s top 10 best cybersecurity practices and cases, famous landmarks in the campaign, an initiative against online frauds, and the inauguration of the Association of Cyberspace Security of Jiangsu Province. It also recognized individuals and organizations contributing to cybersecurity efforts.

In addition, well-known domestic experts and heads of cybersecurity enterprises participated a forum following the opening ceremony.

During the campaign from October 11 to 17, Jiangsu will hold a series of activities, such as those specially for students or teenagers. Cities that have subordinate districts will also organize many events at the resident communities, schools, enterprises and parks.
