The first batch of six patients infected with COVID-19 in Nanjing recovered at the city’s Public Health Medical Treatment Center and were discharged on the morning of August 5.
The six patients, four males and two females, were aged between 41 and 72 years old, and hospitalized on 21-22 July. With mild symptoms at the beginning, they have all recovered and got the approval from a team of experts to be discharged.
They were then transferred to the Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Lishui District for a 14-day medical observation and rehabilitation. They will receive mental health services and treatment of underlying medical conditions.
