The Nanjing Lukou International Airport received a plane of Russian charter airline IFly, which has been changed into cargo use, on the night of April 14.
The fully loaded aircraft then left the airport for Moscow on the early morning of April 15, according to Jiangsu Department of Transportation.
As the COVID-19 outbreak disrupts global travel demand, many airlines are instead using their fleets to transport more cargo. This was the first time for the airport to receive a plane converted to cargo delivery.
