The chairperson of the tourism committee in Lucignano, Italy confirmed the receiving of masks donated by Tianning District, Changzhou City in a video call with Luo Zhiyong, director of the district’s commercial bureau.

Authorities in Tianning have paid close attention to the COVID-19 outbreak in Europe, and ordered masks to be sent to Lucignano. As the transport network was resumed, Tianning will send the second batch of 20,000 surgical masks in ten boxes by air to Lucignano.

Lucignano is a small town at the junction of four provinces of Florence, Arezzo, Siena and Perugia in the Tuscany region of central Italy.

On November 7 last year, Tianning and Lucignano agreed to develop friendly exchanges at the 2019 Jiangsu International Conference on Township Development. It was the one district in Changzhou city that signed any agreement at the conference. Tianning will continue to follow closely to the needs of the people in Lucignano and offer aid for anti-virus materials.
