Also known as Duanwu Festival, the Dragon Boat Festival is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month in the Chinese lunar calendar, which falls on May 31 this year. It's an annual occasion for family reunions, dragon boat races, and eating zongzi wrapped in bamboo or reed leaves.
