The harvest season has arrived in Jiangsu Province, transforming the landscape. Fields of rice, corn and other staple crops have turned golden and stand ready for harvest, while grapevines and pear trees hang heavy with fruit. The air is filled with the sweet scent of chrysanthemums and osmanthus blossoms, and a joyful sense of abundance pervades the countryside.
