Following the conclusion of the 2025 National Indoor Athletics Grand Prix (Leg 4), Nanjing will host the 2025 World Athletics Indoor Championships from March 21 to 23, marking the first time for the event to be held in China.

Over 600 athletes from about 150 countries and regions will compete across 26 events, including the 60m, 1500m, 4x400m relay, women’s pentathlon and men’s heptathlon.

The championships are expected to attract an audience of over 10,000, with tickets already on sale.
