The exhibition, “Fu Baoshi - The Peak of the 20th Century Landscape Paintings,” is hosted by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and organized by Nanjing museum, Jiangsu Traditional Chinese Painting Institute, Jiangsu Art Museum, and Fu Baoshi Memorial Hall.
Landscape painting embodies the Chinese reverence for nature and provides a medium for emotional expression. Fu, who led the transformation of Chinese landscape painting in the 20th century, spent many years working in Jiangsu Province. This exhibition brings together over 150 paintings, making it the largest display of Fu's landscape works to date and a tribute to his artistic legacy.
