Many museums in Jiangsu will extend their opening hours until 9:00 pm and host night activities during the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday from September 15 to 17。
Generally, the night tour programs feature immersive cultural and tourism experiences for visitors, as well as diverse performances.
For example, the Nanjing Museum, open from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, will provide a light show during the night tours, showcasing exquisite cultural relics with the museum's architecture as the backdrop. In Nanjing, the Oriental Metropolitan Museum and Jiangning Imperial Silk Manufacturing Museum will also be open until the evening.

In Yangzhou, the China Grand Canal Museum will also extend its opening hours until 9:00 pm. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the immersive digital exhibition "Venice Revealed” and guess lantern riddles - riddles written on the lanterns displayed during the festival.
Additionally, museums with extended opening hours include those in Suzhou, Nantong, Xuzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou, Zhenjiang, Lianyungang and Yancheng.
