The gentle tones of the Huai Opera in Yancheng was sung in South Korea and Japan during the "Charm of Jiangsu" Cultural and Tourism Carnival from June 15 to June 20.
Jointly hosted by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the Provincial Government Foreign Affairs Office, the cultural exchange event featured intangible cultural heritage and creative works such as dough figurines, paper cutting, salt carving and porcelain engraving, which captivated the attention of Japanese and Korean friends.
