The Qianduo Scenic Area in Xinghua City opened its tourism festival on March 26, showcasing the area’s renowned Duotian agrosystem and captivating fields of rapeseed flowers.

Duotian agrosystem, known for its unique water-land utilization method in low-lying land and its splendid raised field landscape, is recognized as a world-level wonder.

At the opening ceremony, Xinghua unveiled its digital tourism card, which now includes 16 tourist attractions. Additionally, the city released an album that highlights its rich history, culture and scenery.

Xinghua, a historical and cultural city, is also recognized as a national ecological demonstration area. The festival, set to run until May 8, will feature 42 events, including the 2024 China Forum on Confectionery and Snacks and a special tour for foreigners to commemorate the 60th anniversary of China-France diplomatic ties. These events are designed to boost Xinghua’s international visibility, foster cultural exchange, and facilitate rural tourism, such as the breathtaking view of vast golden rapeseed flower fields.
