Jade holds symbolic importance in Chinese culture, history and daily life. The museum has cooperated with over 40 domestic archaeological and cultural institutions to organize the jade exhibition, and will showcase more than 600 pieces (sets) of top-quality relics sourced from across the country, offering an unparalleled exploration of Chinese civilization through its jade heritage.

Among the displays are a variety of jade ornaments from Jiangsu, Heilongjiang, Anhui, Liaoning, Zhejiang and Hunan provinces, including those recognized as national treasures.

The second exhibition shows more than 200 valuable items selected from the museum’s collection of over 400,000 pieces.

These items provide insight into the museum’s history and underscore its vital role in scientific research, archaeological discoveries, and the preservation of relics. The exhibition also honors those who have dedicated themselves to protecting Chinese cultural heritage.
