An experiencing activity themed as “Charming Huai'an and Beautiful Grand Canal in Expats’s View” attracted a group of eleven international students to Jiangsu’s Huai’an City on the afternoon of Oct. 19.
Walking on the stone-paved Hexia Ancient Town, these expats are amazed by the exquisite decorations and cultural elements of the stores along the street. Boasting a history of over 2500 years, Hexia Ancient Town still preserves the architectural style the Ming and Qing dynasties, a perfect integration of water transport culture, imperial examination culture, religious culture, health and leisure culture, and food culture.
