The event included a simulation of Olympic torch relay, a cultural exhibition on Olympic medals, and activities suitable for parents and their children.

At 10:00 am, Huang Xu, member of gold-medal-winning Chinese team at the Olympics in 2000 and 2008, led all the children to kick off the celebration. He also joined eight Chinese and foreign youth representatives in simulating the Olympic torch relay.

In addition, parents and children also enjoyed games like table tennis, basketball and football.
