The launch ceremony at Xuanwu Gate showed a 15 meters high and 2 meters wide creation written by Wei Tianchi, honorary chairman of Jiangsu Calligraphers Association.

13 calligraphers helped created couplets for the 8th such activity to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year.

Jointly organized by the Publicity Department of the CPC Nanjing Municipal Committee, Nanjing Culture and Tourism Department, Xinhua Daily Media Group and Bank of China's Jiangsu Branch, the activity integrates the city wall under state protection and intangible cultural heritage such as calligraphy, couplets and Spring Festival customs.
