Nearly 200 students from Nanjing and Panama City have participated in a drawing event to increase their understanding of the other city as the sister-city partnership is now one year old.

The organizers, Nanjing People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the China Cultural Center in Panama, have selected 40 outstanding works from many entries to host a tour exhibition at Nanjing Sister Cities Exhibition Hall, Nanjing Sun Yat-sen Primary School and the center’s China- Panama Sun Yat-sen Institute.

Nanjing and Panama City signed a sister-city cooperation framework agreement in July 2021. Nanjing Sun Yat-sen Primary School and the China- Panama Sun Yat-sen Institute also became sister schools in July this year. The two cities and schools have carried out a series of exchanges and will step up cooperation in culture, education, tourism and other fields.
